Clarity Science is conducting an IRB- approved observational study aimed at evaluating efficacy and perceptions among non-elite and elite athletes with acute and chronic pain who have been treated with a topical analgesic.

Study Objective

The purpose of this minimal risk, IRB-approved, 6-month observational study is to evaluate non-elite and elite athletes with acute and chronic pain and evaluate perceptions of pain treatment and associated symptoms with the use of a topical analgesic via subject and clinician reported surveys.

Assessment Tools

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center has approved and authorized the use of the Brief Pain Inventory (BPI). Components of The Vancouver Scar Scale (VSS) will also be used.

TAPER-P Outcomes
